Kingmode Guide

This guide details how to obtain Kingmode on BonziWORLD. You are not guaranteed to succeed in becoming a King on BonziWORLD by following this guide though, it's only suggestions. For people who are already kings, this guide will detail how to use kingmode and how to get promoted.

How to become a King

Follow these steps and you might become a King one day, it can take anywhere from a few weeks to half a year if you even get Kingmode at all.

• Be accepted by the community - If you're just another BonziWORLD kiddie or boogeyman that everyone shits on, you'll never become a King
• Be decently known - You want other kings and users to be aware of you
• Be active - All kings have used BonziWORLD often at some point, despite being an autistic cesspool you need to actually fucking use it to have any hopes of becoming a King.
• Contribute to BonziPEDIA - That's optional but very useful, if your contributions are BonziWORLD-related then you can prove you know something about the community
• Learn to Code - Also optional but very useful, most kings on BonziWORLD have some knowledge of coding. It proves you're not retarded
• Get the Kings' Favour - Bonus points for Fune's favour. If the kings like you, you might get to join them.
• Wait for a king shortage - This is the most important part! If there are enough kings, you won't become one. If there aren't enough, there's no time for you to build up a reputation, so follow all these steps before the king shortage. If you're lucky you might get promoted without a shortage, for example if a King is replaced.

How to be a King

While you probably won't lose kingmode unless you abuse it constantly, it's a good idea to follow these steps in order to be supported by everyone so you don't get replaced.

DO

• Bless the least retarded people occasionally
• Bless randoms even less occasionally
• Troll the lolcows of the community with your powers (statlock, useredit)
• Use BonziWORLD decently often
• You can inject harmless scripts sometimes, it's not needed though, just a priviledge of being a Higher King

DON'T

• Mute/kick for no reason
• Actually you can do the above occasionally (like once a day)
• Ban for no reason (EVAAR)
• Inject malicious JS using /sanitize off
• Leak IPs to the public

Moderation

Yes, you need to moderate the website too.

• Kick and mute spammers
• Silent mute the worst spammers
• Read below section to know when to report something to the Higher Kings

The following is for Higher Kings, or for you to report to Higher Kings

• If someone breaks the TAC (porn or gore), ban
• If someone is constantly spamming and rejoining after getting kicked/muted, ban
• If the spam isn't serious though, then don't ban. Only ban if it's a bot.
• If someone sends something illegal such as child porn, save their IP before banning them so they can be reported to the authorities.

How to get promoted

If you're a king looking to climb the ladder, good luck. Becoming a Higher King always takes months. The "optional" options are almost required since 99% of Higher Kings did them.

Higher King

A good example of climbing the ladder is SIAN who did basically all these things over the course of a few months during a severe king shortage.

• Build up a positive reputation within the community
• Be active or an OG member

• Get Fune's favour
• Be a well liked King
• Don't do anything retarded
• Learn to code (optional)
• Contribute to BonziPEDIA (optional), try writing about BonziWORLD members if you don't have any ideas, just make sure your articles aren't dogshit.

How 2 get POAPZ (REEL)

• Make a shitty vanilla BW server
• It dies
• Cry yourself to sleep

In reality just wait until the current owner (in this case Fune) leaves the community. Host some shitty BonziWORLD server on a cheap VPS with a cheap domain, tell all the kiddies your BW is official and wait for everyone to migrate. JY and Erik are the most likely future hosts of BonziWORLD.
