Hi, you're probably here because either,

  1. Your templates suck ass,
  2. You made a template in the "DO NOT MAKE" section, or
  3. You're just here to know how to make a template in general.

This guide will show you how to make a proper template in general.

What templates should you make?

You need to use your brain here for once. Maybe try to brainstorm what the wiki really needs as a template.

This section will show you what to make, and what to not make.

DO MAKE:
  1. Some templates that tell editors what to help with, like: {{outdated}}, {{sucks}} or {{stub}} (partially)
  2. Incase a topic of 1 person spreads across a lot of articles, either make a navbox on that person's page or a template like {{seamus}}
  3. i'll find something like those later

You can always help by making it more cooler.
DO NOT MAKE:
  1. Templates that explain that someone else made this article (You are not like Jabba, also he doesn't even use his template anymore)
  2. Templates that look like they were made by an actual kiddie
  3. Templates that are absolutely not needed for the wiki, at all.
