Being a BonziBUDDY-themed chat client, BonziWORLD has various chat commands. While some of them are basic and taken for granted such as changing your name and color, some of them do more interesting stuff like calling someone an asshole or posting the entire Bee Movie script.

Vanilla commands

These were the commands on the original, now-defunct BonziWORLD server, bonziworld.com. Most, if not all BonziWORLD servers, should have most or all of these commands:

  • /name (name) - Change your name. Note that you can put {NAME} and {COLOR} in your name; so that if someone calls you an asshole, {NAME} and {COLOR} will turn into the name and color of the one that called you an asshole, respectively.
  • /color (color) - Change your color; either to a random one (if you don't type in a specific color or you type in an invalid color) or to one you want. The vanilla colors (which most BonziWORLD servers should have) are:
    • black
    • blue
    • brown
    • green
    • pink
    • purple
    • red
    • Server owners might also add their own colors to their own servers. If you want to know which colors are available on which BonziWORLD servers, just read their README.
  • /speed (speed) and /pitch (pitch) - Change the speed and pitch of your voice, respectively. These two commands don't work on bonziworld.org; most likely because of Fune's server-side rewrite.
  • /youtube (video ID) - Play a YouTube video (you can also do this by sending a link to a YouTube video). Due to a bug, this command can be used to inject CSS and JavaScript into some servers (most of the big ones like bonziworld.org and BonziWORLD Revived have patched it; though notably BonziWORLD FE is still vulnerable to this bug).
  • /asshole (name) - Call someone an asshole (you can also do this by right-clicking a Bonzi then selecting Call an Asshole). If you see kiddies posting typical kiddie videos like Klasky Csupo logo effects, BFDI episodes/clips or Alphabet Lore, make sure to call them assholes to make them butthurt.
  • /owo (name) - *notices (name)'s BonziBulge™* owo, wat dis? Can also be triggered by right-clicking a Bonzi then selecting Notice Bulge.
    • Nobody knows why this command exists, but the writer of this article believes that Joseph Judge might be a furry.
  • /triggered - Tells a variation of the "I sexually identify as an attack helicopter" copypasta.
  • /linux - I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, BONZI/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, BONZI plus Linux.
  • /pawn - Tells a variation of the "I'm Rick Harrison, and this is my pawn shop" copypasta. bonziworld.org lacks this command.
  • /bees - Says the entire script to the Bee Movie. Server owners like to change this command so that instead of saying the entire Bee Movie script, the Bonzi using the command will stop saying the Bee Movie script at some point and say something like "were you expecting me to say the whole thing?". bonziworld.org lacks this command.
  • /joke - Tells a random joke.
  • /fact - Tells a random fact.
  • /vaporwave and /unvaporwave - Used to enable and disable the vaporwave skin, respectively. The former posts the vaporwave song リサフランク420 / 現代のコンピュー by Macintosh Plus. bonziworld.org lacks these two commands.
  • /backflip (swag) - Does a backflip. /backflip swag does the same except you put on cool glasses after doing the backflip.

Pope-only commands

Commands only server administrators can use. Kick/ban features are not usable from the BonziWORLD site itself; they're only usable via the server console:

  • /godmode (godword) - This is used to get pope access. While most of the time it requires a password, some servers owned by script kiddies might have no password (this is thanks to Joseph Judge not creating a random godmode password on the first run); allowing anyone to run the below commands.
  • /pope - Used to enable the Pope color to show people you have privileges on the server. Kiddies are OBSESSED with this color for some reason.
  • /sanitize (on/off) - Used to toggle message sanitizing. If disabled, the pope will be able to send CSS and JavaScript.

bonziworld.org commands

Commands added by Fune specifically for his server. Many of these new commands have caused butthurt across the BonziWORLD community; especially across Seamus' inner circle:

  • /markup (on/off) - Used to toggle text markup; basically bonziworld.org's HTML replacement.
  • /emote (emote) - Makes your Bonzi do something. The list of emotes is available here.
  • /image (URL) - Used to post images. Some retards use this to post porn.
  • /video (URL) - Same as /image except it posts audio/video instead. Once again abused by retards to post porn.
  • /background (URL) - Sets your background. To revert to the original background, type main instead of an URL.
  • /theme (URL) - Sets custom CSS. Maybe this could be used to bring the vaporwave theme back to bonziworld.org
  • /hail (name) - Hails an user; basically the opposite of /asshole. You can also right-click a Bonzi and select Heil to do the same.
  • /nigger - Says "Seamus is a nigger!". Best used when around Seamus supporters like Zander Charles Stansell or CG1204Pictures.
    • Right-clicking a Bonzi and selecting Insult > Niggerify does the same thing except you say "(name) WANNA HEAR SOMETHING?" before "Seamus is a nigger!".

King-only commands

King is a stripped-down version of pope created by Fune which he gives to people that he likes. Most of these commands are also listed here.

PROTIP: Begging for kingmode will reduce your chance of getting it. Instead, be a gud boi until Fune gives it to you.

  • /kingmode (kingword) - Same as /godmode except for getting king access.
  • /jewify (ID) - Changes a Bonzi's color to jew and sets their tag to Jew. Can also be used by right-clicking a Bonzi then selecting Gamer Mod CMDs > Jewify.
  • /statlock (ID) - Toggles whether a Bonzi can change their name and/or color. Can also be used by right-clicking a Bonzi then selecting Gamer Mod CMDs > Toggle StatLock.
  • /smute (ID) - Mutes someone server-wide. Can also be used by right-clicking a Bonzi then selecting Gamer Mod CMDs > Server Mute.
  • /deporn (ID) - Blacklists a Bonzi's crosscolor, changes their name to I love men, their color to jew and sets their tag to Faggot. Can also be used by right-clicking a Bonzi then selecting Gamer Mod CMDs > Blacklist Crosscolor.
  • /bless (ID) - Gives a Bonzi "blessed" status, allowing them to make announcements, polls and bypass the 300 character limit. This also sets their color to a special angel color and sets their tag to Blessed. Can also be used by right-clicking a Bonzi then selecting Gamer Mod CMDs > Bless.
  • /floyd (ID) - Nukes an user. Can also be used by right-clicking a Bonzi then selecting Gamer Mod CMDs > Nuke.

Pope-only commands

Popes also have access to all the king commands in addition to the following.

The only one known to have pope on bonziworld.org is Fune. He will NOT give you pope, so don't even ask him for it:

  • /kick (ID) - Kicks an user. Can also be used by right-clicking a Bonzi then selecting Gamer Mod CMDs > Kick.
  • /ipmute (ID) - Sets someone's name to "My IP is (IP)" and turns any message they send into it. Can also be used by right-clicking a Bonzi then selecting Gamer Mod CMDs > Server Mute (LEAK OWN IP).
  • /ip (ID) - Gets an user's IP. Can also be used by right-clicking a Bonzi then selecting Gamer Mod CMDs > Leak IP.
  • /tagsom (ID) (tag) - Set an user's tag. Can also be used by right-clicking a Bonzi then selecting Gamer Mod CMDs > Set Tag.
