Petoria
Nothing necessarily bad with that, but keep that in mind while reading.
Petoria not only declares independence but becomes a sovereign mockgov recognized internationally. It all began when Peter Griffin, fed up with Quahog's regulations and taxes, decided to form his own country in his backyard. Petoria's independence process was surprisingly smooth. After erecting a small fence and hoisting a peculiar flag of his own design, Peter declared the sovereignty of his new nation. The Griffin family quickly adapted to life as citizens of Petoria, with Peter appointing himself President, Lois taking on the role of First Lady, and their children Meg, Chris, and Stewie receiving honorary positions in his government. News of Petoria's independence spread quickly around the world. Initially met with disbelief and laughter, the newly formed nation began to attract global attention. Petoria's economy relied on peculiar exports such as odd-flavored gum and an energy drink brewed by Peter in his basement. Surprisingly, these products found a niche market, bringing modest prosperity to the new nation. Petoria's foreign policy was equally eccentric. Peter, being the impulsive leader he was, attempted to establish diplomatic relations with nations like England (which he often confused with Neverland), Russia (which he insisted on calling "Whoopsie!"), and even the fictional Latveria (ruled by his arch-nemesis Dr. Doom). Quahog, now bordered by a wall Peter built around Petoria, watched with a mix of fascination and frustration as their former resident navigated global diplomacy with his unique charm (and lack of skill). Despite their differences, the Griffins occasionally maintained ties with their neighbors in Quahog, with Brian the dog often serving as an emissary between the two nations. As the years passed, Petoria became a quirky regional powerhouse, known for it's bizarre policies but also for it's welcoming and optimistic people. And while the outside world often questioned the sanity of it's leadership, the citizens of Petoria continued to live their lives, knowing that at the end of the day, their small country remained a symbol of independence and authenticity. --- Thus, Petoria thrived as a unique and eccentric nation in the "Family Guy" universe, demonstrating that even the wildest dreams of a guy like Peter Griffin can come true in an alternate reality.
