bonziworld.org

bonziworld.org: the only popular and best BW server.

bonziworld.org, formerly known as bonzi.lol and bonzi.ga, is probably the best and most active BonziWORLD revival amongst the bot-infested and skidded messes made by 12-year-olds. Created by Fune, it has a vast array of new commands, basically no rules, and a free playerbase of autists to enjoy a new experience featuring the Web 1.0 Purple Crackermonkey. After overthrowing all other BonziWORLD servers it caused a lot of drama, and by that of course I mean COSMIC scale chimpouts.

History

BonziWORLD.org started out as BW NEO (domain bonzi.ga), a project by JY. JY didn't write any of the original code for bonzi.ga though, and the first version had only one feature from the Brainstorm GC (an alt limit). Bonzi.ga was a mostly irrelevant server compared to bonzi.world, BWR and even Erik's server. It was catalogued on some of BWR's server lists, at first as a server with an unknown owner (though it wasn't captured by webarchive).

Founding

After Fune made a BW NEO prototype that was mostly useless, it was hosted on his VPS under the domain name bonzi.ga. It didn't use HTTPS or Cloudflare, and the server was dead. It received 0 members on an average day, and 2 members peak. It was basically vanilla BonziWORLD with an alt limit. In the early days, Cosmic even has his part in abusing shitty skidded exploits so they could be patched. Seamus didn't know bonzi.ga existed. Bonzi.ga was eventually forgotten, until Fune went on it out of boredom at school and saw 2 russian members talking in September or October. This lead to some extra motivation to update the website.

Pre "war"

Before the fight with Seamus broke out bonzi.ga was on good terms with him. It became the second largest server, averaging around 2-4 members. Polskasoft and JY were both members of the inner circle at this time. TODO - add more shit

Layout

bonziworld.org has a darker background than the other BW servers in order to reduce eye strain on the children who sit there 24/7. Soon after, all of the other major BW servers (such as BonziWORLD Revived and server.erik.red) copied this background. bonziworld.org also has a little message log button in the top left corner for the trolls so spreading screenshots of messages is easier. Other than that, the layout is relatively similar to vanilla BonziWORLD since clusterfucking it wouldn't make it feel like an official BonziWORLD server.

Despite this long list, the server doesn't look extremely clusterfucked, at least when compared to some of the other servers out there
