Replit
Replit is an online integrated developer environment (IDE). However, in the BonziWORLD community, it is better known for being one of two services used by 12-year-olds with terrible coding prowess to host their terribly-coded BonziWORLD servers that nobody ever uses; the other being render.com.
PROTIP: Avoid clicking on any Replit links or at least only click them with a VPN enabled, as some of the people behind Replit servers leak IPs.
Reasons why Replit sucks/you shouldn't host your BonziWORLD server on Replit
These are some reasons why Replit sucks for BonziWORLD servers and why you shouldn't host your BonziWORLD server on Replit. Instead, port forward it or if you have the money buy a VPS:
- The source code is public; which allows people to get your godword and by extension opens up your server for JabbaScript injection. Godwords leaking via Replit is probably why Seamus made godwords random on BWR.
- Replit servers are so easily DDoSed, even retards with LOIC could do it.
- Ever since Replit paywalled custom domains, the link to your server changes with every restart; that is unless you pay.
