The Great War was a conflict fought mostly between BonziWORLD Revived and BonziWORLD.org, though the conflict bled over into other groups. It was mentioned on the history articles, but due to the scale, relevance and length (1+ year) it deserves its own article. The conflict was fought to determine the future of the BonziWORLD community as a whole, whether it would become an anarchy with free speech or a dictatorship where you get banned for criticizing the owner. The war ended in a BonziWORLD.org/Warsaw victory. (NOTE: This article isn't meant to attack any side as the conflict is resolved)
Prelude
After the shutdown of classic.bonzi.world and server.erik.red, BonziWORLD fell under the ownership of Seamus. Before then, Seamus was not seen as being too bad (and even cooperated with Fune), but after he gained complete control over the community he started repressing any speech he found offensive. The site was also getting clogged with horrible features. At the time, Fune owned a small server called bonzi.ga which was a remenant of BonziWORLD Neo (a project involving JY, Ziggy and Fune), and after seeing 2 people using it when he was at school, he decided to revive it. Bonzi.ga eventually grew to the second biggest server, though still averaging at 3 users. The people involved with bonzi.ga started to dislike Seamus more due to the way he manages BonziWORLD, and tried to leech away at BonziWORLD Revived's member count (with schemes such as by buying uranohoshi.in), until eventually tensions snapped and Bonzi.ga went to war with BonziWORLD Revived.
First Month
This was the most important month for the war, and it determined the eventual outcome. Bonzi.ga was a small server with little chance of breaking into first place, and eventually BonziWORLD Revived would kill it, so the first attack against BonziWORLD Revived was to manipulate Seamus into giving the domain for "Peace" just days after the war started. The domain became a redirect to bonzi.ga, throwing bonzi.ga into the spotlight. BonziWORLD Revived quickly returned but was DDOSed by the MOIC, being its first victim. Exploits were also made for both sites, with BonziWORLD Revived often crashing or being flooded. Bonzi.ga rose to first place in the first few weeks, and would stay there since.
Freenom Nuke
This moment marked the transition from free shitty domains to normal paid domains, freenom was sued by the Reptilian Flat Earth Vaccine Climate Change Robot AI Mark Suckerberg and the freenom abuse team would ban any domains reported in an attempt to get rid of the scammers attracting the lawsuits. Seamus first used this to destroy bonzi.ga, but it quickly backfired. Cosmic shared a list of domains with Fune, resulting in the domains being nuked. The result was no BonziWORLD servers for 2 days, starving the autistic children of the internet, except for the ones who used uranohoshi.in to access bonzi.ga's server. Many members never came back as they couldn't find the new domains.
Return of BonziWORLD
BonziWORLD Revived returned on the domain BonziWORLD.co, however, after the freenom nuke, few people returned to BonziWORLD Revived. Polskasoft BonziWORLD returned at bonzi.lol shortly before BonziWORLD Revived, and uranohoshi.in was put out of service (instead redirecting to bonzi.lol and later the BonziWORLD wiki). Fighting continued between the 2 servers, and Seamus kept bickering about losing his users and how Fune "falsely reported muh domains" like BonziWORLD Revived gnomes didn't falsely report bonzi.ga. The war had temporarily calmed down as the 2 servers were rebuilding. Shortly after, Fune's VPS was taken down and the old BonziWORLD source was lost. The new versions were temporarily nicknamed "NEW 6.9.x" to distinguish them from the old, the server also moved to a re-written source, though the client was still based on vanilla BonziWORLD by Joe Judge. This was the most damage BonziWORLD Revived had done to Polskasoft BonziWORLD.]
Secondary Websites
Both servers had started secondary websites, first was the BonziWORLD wiki. The wiki was founded shortly after the first VPS nuke to document the community, first as a shitty unused fandom wiki and later as a mediawiki instance at wiki.bonzi.lol, it experienced success very rapidly. Secondly was news.bonzi.lol, which had news about BonziWORLD Revived, it experienced limited success with a few BonziWORLD users reading it, however it got the BonziWORLD Revived crowd malding. BonziWORLD Revived made a bonzi.lol mockup as a response to Fune's BonziWORLD Revived mockup (talk about original ideas). BonziWORLD Revived also had a swarm of smaller servers surrounding it under subdomains, so Fune gave jabba some BonziWORLD subdomains. Overall secondary websites didn't add much to the overall conflict, other than the wiki, which blew up even outside the BonziWORLD community.
